Lifestream Youth Ministry

The Gardner area has the largest amount of grade school and pre-school aged children in the State of Kansas.

If you have been around Gardner very long you cannot miss one important constant - trains! So we have modeled our children's area after a train depot theme. We have Baby Depot, Pre-School Station, and The Express for K-4th Grade. Our check-in area is Union Station.

Nursery & Preschool (Baby Depot)

Our nursery area is staffed by dedicated and caring volunteers. Each volunteer is screened before becoming part of our team. Your child's safety and well-being is our top concern.

We use a check-in and check-out system to ensure your child's safety in our facilities. We also have an area available to nursing mothers.

Preschool Station

Our children are never too young to begin learning about their Creator. We do not "babysit" your pre-school children, we use crafts, games, and professional curriculum to begin the life long journey of discipleship for your child.

We are always looking for volunteers in our children's department! Let us know if this is a team you would like to join!

The Express (K-4th grade)

The grade school years are an impressionable time in the lives of our children. Our church recruits and trains teachers to be an extra tool for families to help their children develop spirituality.

We currently use a professional curriculum called Promise Land, which was developed by the staff of Willow Creek Community Church in Barrington, Illinois.

Our setting is safe and comfortable. We use multiple forms of media to help teach our curriculum. If you have futher questions contact Amy Roberts at 940-2463.

Youth Groups

At LifeStream Youth Group we emphasize the importance of having a real and genuine relationship with God. We urge kids to go beyond an abstract affirmation of God and challenge themselves to commit to an authentic relationship with God. This requires sacrifice, commitment, and a willingness to open up.

We stress the importance of building real and authentic relationships with one another as well, and want to be an outlet for teenagers seeking a place where they can truly be themselves.

Youth Gatherings Our middle school students meet each Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 7:00 at our church office, 204 E. Main in Gardner. The high school meets from 7:15-8:15 the same evening.

Our goal is to create an environment that is conducive to free and open discussion and spiritual formation without hostility, judgment, or fear of opposition.

Middle School
Our middle school group, in addition to Wednesday nights, meets on Sunday's during the main service. We are primarily discussion based, and we try to hone in on issues that are specific to middle school aged children.

We challenge kids to truly commit to a relationship with their creator. This will require them to make and spend time with Him each day, as well as be honest and open with him in their daily prayer and devotional time.
